Support offered by the Institute for Existential Pedagogy
- We support professionals in education and care (early childhood educators, teachers, social educators, parents, …) in their efforts to implement a pedagogy oriented toward the person and the search for meaning.
- We offer lectures, seminars, workshops, symposia, congresses, training programs, as well as tailor-made formats designed to meet the needs of specific institutions (e.g. in-service teacher training). [Link to programs]
- We strengthen and accompany interested professionals through supervision, intervision, coaching, and personal counselling. [Link to programs]
- We cooperate with other institutions (universities of teacher education, universities, adult education centres, social-pedagogical institutions, …) and develop joint programs. [Link to cooperation programs]
- Each year we publish our own annual program, consisting primarily of online events for the German-speaking world.
- We present concrete approaches for teaching that conveys meaning and fosters personal growth.
- We provide suggestions and inspiration regarding teaching materials, and we make brochures and information folders available.
- We point to suitable resources: picture books, books, films, plays, texts, games, media, as well as events offered by other institutions.
- We publish articles, edited volumes, and monographs by authors in the field of Existential Pedagogy.
- We continue to develop Existential Pedagogy in dialogue with the Society for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis.
