Mission Statement

Our vision is to cultivate passion and serenity in education and teaching

We are a dedicated team of educators committed to a pedagogical approach that embraces the whole human being – their emotions, thoughts, values, needs, their present situation, their social relationships, and their orientation toward meaning. We support caregivers and teachers in empowering children for life and helping them find their own path.

Our work is grounded in Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy and Alfried Längle’s Existential Analysis, which has been further evolved into a comprehensive pedagogical approach by Eva Maria Waibel.

We understand pedagogy and education as an encounter with the child and their world – as an invitation to meet the unique child and as an opportunity for mutual growth. Our approach draws from relationship and deep understanding, grounded in a personal dialogue oriented toward freedom and responsibility. Our goal is to support children in unfolding their potential and in finding their path within an increasingly complex world – with inner consent and personal authenticity.

Through training programs, advanced education, exchange and networking opportunities, the provision of books and meaningful resources, collaboration with educational institutions, and the organization of conferences, we inspire people to embed Existential Pedagogy in the fields of upbringing and education.

The Institute for Existential Pedagogy is a pioneer in both research and practice, dedicated to empowering children, adolescents, parents, and educators for a life shaped by freedom and responsibility.
